Tom van Altena grew up in Voerendaal, a small village in the south of the Netherlands. After completing high school he moved to Tilburg where he is now studying Corporatecummunitions & Digital Media at Tilburg University.

The passion for photography really kicked in during his trip to Peru in 2006. A friend lend him his camera and together they made it a sport to shoot the most interesting and remarkable pictures. Not long after the trip he bought his own DSLR and the photographer within was born.

Since then he and his camera have become inseperable. He has been improving his skills and more and more people are starting to ask him for his services. Ofcourse, a selection of his best work can be viewed in the online portfolio on this website: Photography and Design.
